Jaegermeister and jello! It looks just like the oil in the water.

2. And she remarked on that several times....
"Smells a lot better" she added.

There is something about Rachel - everyone seems to be comfortable around her.
Those two women making the shots were a hoot.

What have we done to these people?

Edited on Fri Jun-04-10 09:04 PM by eleny
1 1/2 cups of very hot water
2 packets of grape jello
4.5 oz Jaegermeister

pour it into plastic shot cups
cover the cups and put them into a big pail of room temp water for 5 minutes
then put them in the freezer for an hour to 1 1/2
then, into the fridge until consumed

i'm not completely sure about the amount of Jaegermeister.
and i think they called it "tar balls"

4. Yep
Tar Balls.
I think it is 1 1/2 packets of grape jello and 4 oz. of Jaeger..... but a little more Jaeger shouldn't hurt.

At least until tomorrow, anyway.

12. I only learned about hurricane glasses recently
When my folks lived in Florida they received a set as a gift. I only discovered them in a box years after my mom passed away. I rarely drink so I thought they'd make great morning juice glasses since we do like a large glass of orange juice.

Hurricane drinks do sound tasty, though!

7. Only in Louisiana would you find that wacky ironic humour!
OMG, I'm laughing and have to admit that 'Treme' got it.

If we couldn't laugh we'd be klling ourselves.

10. No, in any disaster area
it goes with it... your brain needs that to deal with it.

Good for these two ladies by the way.

9. The sense of gallows humor did not shock me
or surprise me...

Yep, been there, done that, and really I used to tell me kids to stay away from civies at times. We got down right... "disgusting" at times... I freely admit it.
