is reagan the ultimate Judas Iscariot of the democratic party?

I didn't know until recently that Reagan was a democrat and a liberal one until the 1960s and was a supporter of FDR and Truman.

At least when Reagan went Repuke, he openly admitted it. The DLC acts like Repukes, and still insists they're "Democrats".

his dad and brother found steady work with the ccc/wpa in dixon il.my dad worked for the wpa at that time.

he changed to a republican when he started dating nancy...

a secret snitch for the FBI against "subversive" members of the union. It was Reagan himself who created the Hollywood actors blacklist, where SAG actors accused of communist sympathies were banned from working. Yeah, he was registered as a Democrat at the time, whether out of political convenience or for sincere reasons, I don't know. But he was always a scary right-winger, even when his party affiliation said D.

The "liberal" Reagan who had an epiphany is a political invention and nothing else.

8. another example of faux family values

a lot of family values types liked Reagan but when you consider that he dumped his wife and kids (who hated him) for some broad 10+ years younger than him, it really makes me want to puke.
