Rachel Maddow Nominated for TV Critics Award

MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show" is again the only cable news show nominated for a Television Critics Association award.

The show is nominated in the "Outstanding Achievement in News & Information" category alongside Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," ESPN's "30 for 30," History's "America: The Story of Us," and Discovery's "Life."

2. If there were more like her and Keith,
I would actually watch US TV. As it is, I don't watch much TV of any kind, but avoid the US stuff like the plague....except for Keith and Rachel!

10. I have such a media crush on Rachel
She's smart, funny, insightful, knowledgeable and witty. It's not fair to judge journalism on the "hotness" factor, but she reduces me to a jibbering mass of "please, tell me more!" She winks an eye, and flashes a rare fact not even known by Reuters! She grins, and enunciates polysyllabic words! She banishes rumor with fact, she demands politicians substantiate their claims.

I admit it, I have a media crush on Rachel. She makes what would otherwise be a dull, dreary litany of pre-packaged factoids into an educational debate about things which matter.
