Poll question: What would we have done, if BP had told us the truth?

Had BP come to us, and stated on the front pages of the nation's newspapers concerning the gamble they were undertaking by deep water drilling, would we have said no?

WE wouldn't have agreed that this was worth the costs, and we would have demanded that the technology would have to be modern enough to deal with the potential problems.

The bush admins hid from, we, the people, all discussions pertaining to deep water oil, because they knew there was a WMD down there and they now are amused at the victims blaming themselves for their screwups.

Had BP told us what they were doing, that would have been a sign of Democracy in action.

Instead, what we have is Fascism in action. They dictated to us what they would do to our Gulf.

probably a majority of DUers would have said "Drill,
Baby, Drill!", so as long as you're asking what "we"
would have done, the answer is "Sure, go ahead BP
and drill".

And in the light of the question you asked, that's how
I voted (and why).
