DU went down for me, and I'm glad, because "We're In A War"!
Boston Legal is just brilliant, and I'm glad I watched it. This is as good as it gets for regular TV.
All about Gitmo, prisoners, lack of the Constitution and Geneva Conventions, a person who commits suicide is exhibiting 'manipulative self-interest behavior'.
Oh, and in the 'new' America, we don't care about human rights, we just don't want to get blown up.

Gosh, this was great! And I used to rarely watch-that will change.

I'm stubborn, not noble :) - but I've heard it is a fabulous show and I will definitely check out your recommendation and look for it through Netflix or other rental places.

12. I meant the 'big' 3 network stations, i.e., regular. Add PBS and Moyers,
that changes the equation.

I loved the "prequel" to the show The Practice.

The Lost and The Office are two shows that immediately come to mind. And as much as Boston Legal talks about important issues, no show IMO on network television really deals with the important issues as well as my favorite show of all time, "The West Wing." It is a shame it is no longer on. I have been watching old episodes and just constantly think to myself, why can't Jed Bartlett be my President?

but got introduced to the first season of Boston Legal on DVD. The show is fabulous.
