O'Lielly Lifts Boycott of France

O’Reilly lifts boycott of France.

“In March 2003, Bill O’Reilly called on all Americans to boycott the use of French products because of France’s disagreement with the United States decision to invade Iraq… Through the years O’Reilly has claimed his boycott of France has cost the country “billions of dollars” (O’Reilly himself quoted that figure in the non-existent “Paris Business Review“).” But now that France has elected conservative Nicolas Sarkozy, the French can rest easy. O’Reilly said yesterday, “The Factor is lifting the boycott of France. However, ‘Boycott France’ bumper stickers do remain available on BillOReilly.com for nostalgia purposes, and you never know… we may have to re-impose it.“

Oh,brother...

Funny thing is the United States has increased spending on French Imports during the three years of the boycott (from $29 Billion in 2003 to $37 Billion in 2006), but we're sure the numbers will be much larger next year, oui?

1. That's really white of him.
I don't use "smilies," but the "sarcasm" one would come in pretty handy right here, wouldn't it?

2. France was right from the beginning
We knew it then. Never doubted it.

O'Liley-boy-dog is just trying to cover his ass.

Vive la France now, then, and always.

Fuck Bill and all his idiots.

4. Thank you, Mr. O'Reilly
To keep France's economy afloat through your boycott I increased my purchases of French wines, cheeses and perfume.
After three years I'm fat and I'm drunk, but I sure smell good.
You think I can stop now?

6. Bill O'molestwoman may boycott England next.
Incoming PM Gordon Brown wants to diplomatically engage Iran. Bill won't like that, or anything else short of an all out war with Iran.

8. And France says "Oh--he was boycotting us? Really?"
Meanwhile, Billo wants everyone to know that he has decided, in his generosity, to take up French-kissing again.

Attention all O'Reilly Factor interns: Seek shelter immediately.

9. have the French
commissioned anyone to design the statue of Bill to be erected next to the Eiffel Tower yet?
I thought I heard a huge collective sigh of relief and gratitude over Bill's benevolent decision. God, he's wonderful. Makes me proud just to be an American. like Bill. Bill Rocks! Or, as our once again friends, the French say, Ooh la la, Bill is Tres Magnifique!

10. Is he deluded enough to believe he
lead a national boycott of French products? That he can call to end a boycott as though he is a person of political importance. How much more arrogant can this man get?
Does he know that France still isn't supporting the war in Iraq and the Sarkosy is in the same political party as Chirac?
