NEW YORK A recent Newsweek poll showing Democrat Barack Obama leading top Republican presidential hopefuls could have been made up and might help al-Qaeda, syndicated columnist commentator Ann Coulter said in her latest verbal broadside.

Coulter, a best-selling author known for outrageous and often controversial statements, was asked on Fox News' "At Large" what she thought about the survey results.

"I think this is Newsweek doing more push polling for al-Qaeda," she said, referring to campaign-season telephone calls to voters masquerading as neutral surveys but designed to build opposition to targeted candidates.

why would they make the poll up and how on earth would it help al-Qaeda? She sure is getting desperate.

and why isn't the justice dept investigating RWers? They're the ones who seem to know exactly what terrorists and al Qaeda are going to do ... do they have some sort of inside information? Contacts in al Qaeda? Buddies with the terrorists?
