I hope Stephanie Miller is OK! (LA fires)
I just always assumed she lived around Griffith Park, the way she talks about the "critters problems..." I used to live in that neighborhood and had the same dilemmas!

These fires are AWFUL!!! My daughter's high school is right by there -- scary!

4. No! Only 20% contained last I heard.....
Can you believe it, also, they said it might have been intentional....but then they called it a "wildfire" isn't that different than an arson fire?

They have the areas around Cromwell & Vermont evac'd.....200 people hunkering down at John Marshall High,

Decent coverage on channel 9.

1300 customers in Los Feliz with no power, and the power lines just keep coming down.

I love this picture -- night hikers in Griffith Park. This area is completely firebombed now

7. Is The Observatory or Zoo Threatened?
I love Griffith Park!! I saw a quick shot on our local news and couldn't recognize where things were going on. Here's hoping all that's burning is the brush and its contained. Please stay safe...take care of my second home city!!

16. she's joking about it now - neighborhood evacuated overnight, she slept through it, 40% contained
Her critter trouble is going to come back - the concrete-eating rats - and others will be scared by the fire and come to her yard

15. Thanks
I heard on there that it started near the Greek, but did it burn? That is one of the few places I've been to in LA. It was such a nice area with cool trees.
