Barbara Boxer vs. Carly Fiorina
In the event that Carly Fiorina does gain the Republican Senate nomination what are the chances that she will beat Barbara Boxer? I know that California is normally a blue state. However, I just wanted to know it if was likely that Barbara Boxer would win reelection.

1. Well...
...it depends on if enough California Dems are mad enough at Boxer over health insurance reform that they'd be willing to throw her under the bus and elect the worst CEO that Hewlett-Packard has ever endured.

And those campaign ads! "FCINO?" What a trip.

2. I hope Boxer steamrolls Fiorina in this one,
if Fiorina does win her primary tonight.

Boxer deserves re-election on many counts.

I think California voters will come through for Boxer in the end.

5. i'm trying to stop Fiorina at the primary... but batten down the hatches!
the amount of money behind both Whitman and Fiorina now is scary. and as my folks are registered DNC, i get to hear a grand total of zero fliers, phone calls, etc. have been coming in in preparation. all my RNC propaganda has already started with the debate framing attacks. CA DNC better not get lazy, but if they do it's up to the grassroots to help Boxer get back in.

she's the only excellent senator we got! :7

6. Barbara would only be in trouble if the Repukes wised up and nominated Campbell...
...much more in the mainstream...Carly is a nut and her disastrous tenure at HP will be Exhibit A.

7. Today the pundits seem to thing that its an even race or Fiorina is slightly ahead
I assume that is because of the interest generated by the contested primary. Long term, its Boxer's to lose.

8. Re-electing Boxer is my highest priority. She is a HERO who has protected the CA coast from oil
I thank the Universe for Senator Barbara Boxer. She has been a strong and effective leader, for decades, in protecting the California coast from oil drilling. She has also been at the forefront of demanding research and development of alternative energy.

I cast my vote for Senator Boxer as my 'Thank you' for her vigorous protection of the California coast. I'm also going to send her a pretty big check (by my standards) as soon as I finish negotiations with my spouse on the acceptable hit to our budget we can handle.

I will be shocked and dismayed if she does not win re-election. Californians are not going to vote for anyone who chanted Drill Baby Drill at the 2008 Republican convention, as Fiorina did. I really hope I'm right about this.
