I like Adm. Thad Allen

He's exactly the kind of leader that you want to have in charge of the Coast Guard during this crisis.

He's a smart, conscientious, tireless man who is totally dedicated to his oath.

He knows his stuff.













However... He's WAAAAAYYY in over his head on this one.

BP, who should never been in charge of any part of correcting of this disaster, has fucked up EVERYTHING beyond all recognition, (Fuck you, to the creeps who wrote the US LAW that designated that they put in charge in the first place). This collection of rat fuckers would have been much more helpful if they all ate shit and died.

THOSE ASSHOLES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ARRESTED ON THE SPOT AND THEIR ASSETS SEIZED!

And while the shitbags like Heyward and the rest of his cronies are rotting away in some federal pen, I would feel a hell of a lot better if Adm. Allen had a free hand to fix this problem without BP's malfeasance, deception and incompetence standing in the way.

Mostly with the "way over his head" comment.

I like him, but we need a whoop ass person in charge who really knows SCIENCE, for the remediation decisions. He is not the guy. He can't handle BP, and he has trusted them far too much. He does not need to have the top leadership role in this. He is not making the best choices.

I don't think that even Attila the Hun could have done a better job if he was wearing Allen's own white Corfams. Because, the disaster is far beyond the resources that the CG can muster.

And federal law has given too much deference to BP the fix this.

Talk about horrible ideas.
