Outstanding episode, they confronted the whole "war on terra" debate and the detention of people front on.

This isn't the first time BL has addressed controversial political issues. Last night Alan once again took a poor US policy to task. Too bad it's only done on a fictional TV show and not the media.

2. Yes. Are Americans racist or just anti-foreigners. Or is it the media.

3. Pointed dig at the silent Democrats, too.
We've got power now. We should be shining a spotlight on the abuses at Gitmo. Why aren't we?

They deal with stupid repub talking points so well. I often wonder when I'm watching how anyone can not see how ignorant the repubs arguments sound.

7. I wonder that too beachbum!
I love Alan Shores. It has been a few episodes since he's gone on a good rant. Last night's episode was wonderful. I also liked when the prosecuting attorney asked the defendant if he could prove that he wasn't associated with al qaeda & the defendant asked, "Prove the negative? We're asked to do that now?" Zang. I could do without the sexual weirdness in the show. I don't know why they think they need a judge who asks attorneys to 'drop trou' in her chambers. I thought that diminished her character. I also am not keen on Alan's new judge girlfriend. ;) Welcome to DU! :hi:

:patriot: Gotta love Alan Shore!!! :loveya: And the way they write Denny Crane's character to make Repub's look like the head-in-the-sand morons that so many of them are, is hilarious!!

6. Yes. It's just too bad that
they're probably preaching to the choir because those who should be watching (Repugs) probably aren't.

13. My favorite episode was the Canadian fishing trip...
when Alan turns into an environmentalist to save the fish. And Denny can't hook one so he pulls out his gun and shoots his fish. Alan: "The parasites attache themselves to the fish. They call them cling-ons. Denny: "Did you say, 'Klingons?" Alan: "Yes." Denny: "Hm."

16. It's amazing to me that
Boston Legal gets away with all that factual stuff about the "govmint" on disneyland. Thank goodness for the drama and comedy shows..without, all we would have is the propoganda controlled newshows.
