I've seen Obama's remarks played over and over and over today on cable and on national TV. Wow, think of how much we can actually accomplish knowing that to get the media's attention all you have to do is use the world ass. Maybe if Obama used that word when talking about Israel tampering with evidance by selecting what videos they will release and which they won't the media might actually notice.

Actually it is starting to make sense, the media has the brain capacity of a 5th grader.

7. He always looked pretty human to me
were some people thinking he was a humanoid? ;)

It's a word, nothing more. Yet the media acts like a 5th grader when the teacher says "damn".

9. The media generally gives POTUS remarks a lot of play. That's why he comes out to talk...
when a voice is needed for important policies.

10. You're right about that. But not as they did in this case
They'll play his remarks, sure. But in this case those remarks are getting wall to wall coverage and that wasn't even the most important part of the interview.

11. I think it was the most important part.

Did you miss the recent polling showing Americans want BP criminally prosecuted by a 2:1 margin. And 64% are not happy with the government's response. It was essential he debunk the impression he was being led around by BP. Regardless of the facts, this perception was widespread and I think the ass kick message was the right one at the right time (okay, couple of weeks too late but still time to get on top of it).

8. Well they certainly do if the word is "class".
Maybe "ass" is the shortened, simplified version.
