2. Thanks, there are some very important races
today which could help remove two Blue Dog Dinos from Congress, Blanche Lincoln and Jane Harman.

Both have big money behind them and while we have been distracted by a comment by Helen Thomas, instead of focusing on our own Congress, Big Business has remained focused on winning both these races.

Pouring money into both campaigns, it has been a struggle for Halter and Winograd but it looks like Halter may pull it off since he had the support of many progressive organizations.

Winograd who is a true progressive on all the issues, hasn't been supported by liberal groups. But, a few weeks ago she was doing well despite not having anywhere near the amount of money Harman has. It's difficult to get information on that race for some reason, such as poll results. But Harman was worried enough to start running negative ads against her.

3. The Times stated that Halter had big financial backing from the unions, never
mentioned that Lincoln got millions from the corporations and the Democratic Party, only that she had "support from Obama and Bill Clinton." A little bias, perhaps?

4. Yes, biased as if the NYT being biased is a surprise.
As far as the Jane Harman/Marcy Winograd race, it's interesting, the so-called Liberal blogs have extensive coverage of all the primary races, but this one is not mentioned. I guess Winograd is too liberal for them.

I had to go to Amy Goodman to find a mention and an interview with her. With so little help it's doubtful she can beat the Corporate funded Harman.
