Edited on Wed Jun-09-10 05:19 PM by Robeysays
He's running in the Dem Primary, eventually either he or Glassman will face MaCcain.

https://www.johndougherty2010.com/

His investigative journalist site: http://www.investigativemedia.com/Site/Welcome.html

You may remember him from such past fame as:

The Arpio investigation: http://www.investigativemedia.com/Site/Arpaio%20Investigation.html

Northern Arizona/southern Utah polygamy investigation: http://www.investigativemedia.com/Site/Polygamy%20Investigation.html

His site is a little lack luster, but he's a good guy and worth checking out. he's done a lot for the state as a top notch investigative journalist.

Used to write for the new times and was their, in my opinion, the best at that outfit.

lets send him to DC.

:D

help us out down here. we need it. :(

edited to fix bad wording about the primary race. haha.

1. How does he compare to Glassman?
Glassman is the only Dem. I'm aware of and I don't know much about him either.

Mesa? The armpit of the Valley of the Dumb? Me too.

3. From what i can tell, they are both good canidaites but
personally, i like this man better, he seems more up standing, less corporate.

He's proven his ability to not fear power and to bring justice where it's absent.

Mesa, is quite, err, "different", haha, compared to the rest of the valley.

2. He's running against McCain in the Democratic Primary???
I'd take almost anyone over McCain or J.D. Hayworth, but I think Rodney Glassman has a better chance than John Dougherty of winning the Senate seat for the Democrats.

And yes, we do need all the help we can get down here.

4. yeah just caught that haha, i'll fix it.
Rodney is good, but he seems more like the cookie cutter Dems we seem so prone to churn out in this state, where as Dougherty is and appears to be a real outsider and truly different choice than McCain.

7. You think McCain will win?
JD is "comin' on strong." I'd love to see JD win - it would make it so much easier for the Dem. candidate.

8. I think JD is gonna win.... Lots of Crazy RWers down here think MacCain is TOO liberal.

seriously though, the RW in az is crazy.

a JD win will pretty much turn this in to a very winnable election.
