Bush Whines To TX Friends: Nobody Understands Me
In the 2000 campaign, we were told that George Bush doesn’t read polls. Unlike Bill “Finger-in-the-Wind” Clinton, Bush knew his own mind and besides he had his finger on the pulse of regular Americans. In reality, of course, he doesn’t need to read the polls since Karl gives him a full briefing every morning.

“His inability to harvest experience, and so to think and form successful judgments, is just so inexplicable.”A story at HuffPost appears to confirm that Bush is not only aware he’s tanking in the polls, he’s whining about it:

hearing that some big money players up from Texas recently paid a visit to their friend in the White House. The story goes that they got out exactly one question, and the rest of the meeting consisted of The President in an extended whine, a rant, actually, about no one understands him, the critics are all messed up, if only people would see what he’s doing things would be okay…etc., etc.

7. 'Nobody understands me' is the motto of a drunk
You are correct, we DO understand him. He just doesn't get it that he is an unlikeable, lying pig who fools barely 26%

3. Classic paranoia, no?
Or at least the classic symptoms of egotists everywhere.

4. Actually, we do understand you, George...
That's the real problem. We understand exactly who and what you are and what you represent.

We just don't fucking like you or your failed policies.

5. We were told so much in 2000
Remember "uniter not a divider?"

Or "Restoring integrity to the White House?"

It all seems like a sick joke now.

6. It's not his fault people don't understand him.
Bush doesn't make mistakes, so if people are criticizing him, it must be because they just don't understand him. It's not his fault. Nothing ever is. :sarcasm:

8. As always, it's gotta be about HIM. His pathological narcissism runs amok.
He's a very sick man ... an effectively untreatable personality disorder. It says volumes about the rampant pathologies in our body politic that this person could get within 100 yards of the White House let alone be released from a padded cell.

9. George, Barbara does. Now go to Mommy and she'll keep baby cozy and warm.
George, you lost us at the Katrina response. At least we could understand your neocon "advisors'" grift, but come on, dude, you've pissed in the punch bowl once too often.

By the way, George, how's that Arbusto stock going these days?

10. This is what makes bush so dangerous
Edited on Wed May-09-07 11:40 AM by genie_weenie
The persecution complex, the Martyr syndrome, the delusions of grandeur. Listen to how often he cites future historians. He wants to believe he will be seen as a great man come the future.

Men with this ideology and control of militaries embark on courses which result in grand orgies of death and destruction. And bush has over 600 days to make matters worse.

11. Friends????
Big difference between "friends," and profiteering business associates.

Can anyone recall photo-ops of Georgie and his personal friends/college buddies????
