On Unemployment
Edited on Thu Jun-10-10 04:02 AM by AllentownJake
Even when I read the happy and fun economic cheer leading blog post elsewhere (they generally make me laugh for a good 15 minutes, those things are funnier than a George Carlin comedy special), most of even the most happy economic cheer leading peeps themselves acknowledge that ridiculously high unemployment will be a problem till at least 2014.

Now other than extending benefits, is anyone in congress working on a possible medium to long term solution to a high unemployment rate and the societal side effects for the next 4 years.

From what I've been reading they extend benefits forever, after terrorizing people by taking a vacation and letting them expire first, I don't think that is a viable long term plan and doesn't even address the growing problem we have with High School and College Graduates looking for work in this economy.

Anyone in the caucus or administration actually trying to look at what looks like an economic structural problem, or is it hot babe from Citigroup with a boob job week in America.

1. Oh come on now, when have issues like destitution, corrupt elections, corporate lawlessness,
ecological disaster, global fraud, mass-murder, etc. ever rated higher than celebrity worship and "hot chicks"?

Just what country do you think this is?
:kick: & R

3. The nation the guys in the picture founded lasted about 5 minutes after their demise.
Then the parasites moved in and had their way for about half a century until it got so bad that McKinley/Roosevelt greatly slowed their progress.

FDR's preservation of their system was our undoing and WWII was the catalyst. The global rise of fascism never stopped, it just moved.
