The US Coast Guard can seize boats/ships at sea carrying small amounts of drugs.

They are empowered to arrest everyone and seize everything on board any boat or ship carrying any illegal drugs. Then the US government can seize all property associated with the boat operators, taking their homes, their cars and everything in their bank accounts. Their justification: If drugs are involved means that all money associated with their drugs is 'tainted' and therefore subject to confiscation.

So why aren't there any similar laws pertaining to corporations and their attack against the people and the environment? MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. They have bought our government and our representatives are their paid prostitutes. They write their own laws to protect themselves.

But what is more dangerous and threatening to you? A guy who has a few pounds of pot in his boat, or a multinational corporation who destroys an entire gulf, kills 11 human beings and destroys the livelihoods of millions of hard working Americans?

Isn't it time we DEMANDED that people like Obama ACT, and ACT NOW?

Goddamned it, I am tired of gutless cowards running my country. I have NO DOUBT I could do a better job than Obama. Absolutely no doubt. Just when is he going to wake up and start to represent the people and stop caving in to the right wing enemy and corrupt corporations?

I served in the military and I didn't put my life on the line so that cowards could give it away to the highest bidders.

BTW: Before you attack me for speaking my mind realize I was one of Obama's biggest supporters. I was also one of his delegates. I worked tirelessly for over a year to get him elected. And I dug deep into my pockets and gave more to his campaign that I could really afford. I have earned my right to criticize him if he isn't doing what he promised us he was going to do. I don't know what happened to candidate-Obama but I would like him back.

1. Close the DEA and create the OEA
Oil Enforcement Administration.

We spend billions every year trying to stop people from feeling better. It's time to spend the money on protecting people's health from oil-related issues.

PS: When I was in the Navy my Coast Guard buddy always had the best pot, fresh off the boat.

2. If you run, I'll vote for you.
I won't be voting for the president, that's for sure. He's a great campaigner, but an extraordinarily shitty leader.

You'll catch a lot of shit for saying you could do better. I got a load for saying I could manage the gulf clusterfuck better than the morans who are currently fucking it up. Sad thing is that it's probably true. I know how to manage stuff. This stuff is just bigger, but that's OK. You just need to make logical decisions.

8. Thanks for your support!
I was being honest. At least I wouldn't take any shit off of anyone and if anyone tried to bribe me I'd have them arrested and imprisoned. Doing the right thing is not that difficult. Manipulating, deceiving and plotting aganst your fellow man takes a lot of planning and effort to succeed.

3. What happened to candidate Obama?
He got elected..

Then he did what he was planning to do all along.

No one who wasn't already co-opted by the corporatarchy would have been allowed anywhere near winning the primaries, let alone the presidency.

4. I'm so old, I used to live in a free country called America.
But the U.S. traded its freedom to be designated a drug-free zone.

5. Why Doesn't the Coast Guard seize the CIA Jets when they land loaded with a ton of Cocaine?
Edited on Thu Jun-10-10 05:46 PM by lib2DaBone
Crashed jet carrying cocaine linked to CIA

A private jet that crashed last year in eastern Mexico and was found to be carrying more than 3 tons of cocaine was also used by the Central Intelligence Agency for clandestine operations, the Mexican daily El Universal reported September 3.

The newspaper cited documents from the United States and the European Parliament which “show that that plane flew several times to Guantanamo, Cuba, presumably to transfer terrorism suspects.” It said the European Parliament was investigating the jet for its possible use in “extraordinary rendition” flights, whereby prisoners are covertly transferred by the U.S. to a third country.

"But if we catch you with a MJ Cigarette... you are going to jail for 30 years.."
