Later in the story it reads:
Journalists said at the time that US troops confiscated their photos and video footage of the aftermath of the violence. One wonders, with our military being stretched so thin fighting an already lost effort in Iraq; what quality of psychological screening and/or battle training are our soldiers getting? It may be that soldiers not either appropriately trained or screened will make more and more tragic mistakes on the field of battle. Of course, this makes work that much more challenging for the many soldiers that do serve honorably.
As we have already seen with the Pat Tillman cover up, the military will work with the BushCo regime to attempt to hide the mistakes (war crimes?)and spin false truths to the MSM.
$2,000 - where in the world did that figure come from for a condolence payment? There is no proper perspective to justify placing such little value on a human life!
