A hearty cheer for AZDemDist6 is requested...salt of the earth and smart, too.

I just want to commend AZ for her earth wisdom. I want you to know she has helped me learn new ways of cleaning that doesn't involve chemicals products. AZ, my cleaning product bill has dropped to about $5 a month and I feel better about the laundry and cleaning water that leaves my home. I feel less stressed and it eases my mind not to worry about carcinogens in my home so much. If I get cancer again, it won't be because I didn't try to do something about it. Thanks, AZ, for all that you contribute to DU.

P.S. AZ can also be found on the Cooking & Baking forum contributing recipes and good ideas for the kitchen too. That forum is a yummy place to hang out--we have so many talented people here. Kudos to all of you, but thanks today to my friend, AZ for making the world a better place.

I bought Ecover tabs for the dishwasher, and they do a better job than Cascade. Yeah a more expensive, but they do not hurt the environment in any way. Plus I don't worry any more about residue in the cups and glasses.

I'll check into those Ecover tabs. I have a dishwasher, but only use it when the kids and grandkids visit on holidays. It's easier to was the dishes for the two of us in the sink. LOL! I don't have a cell phone either. We're old fuddyduddies. Luddites to the core on some things.
