I met Jay Parmley in April. He's the executive director of the SC Democratic party.

I met Jay Parmley in April. He's the executive director of the SC Democratic party.
Jay was one of the trainers at DFA Campaign Academy here. His area of expertise is campaign finance.

Jay was probably the most popular trainer. He is funny and incredibly smart.

And today I feel for Jay. He probably feels like he's been hit by a truck. A right wing candidate buying truck.

Jay Parmley certainly doesn't deserve this.

Aren't the state democratic parties supposed to have some sort of jurisdiction over the candidates? Did he even know this character was running? Or is the party simply left to twist in the wind because it's a waste of money to battle Republicans? Talk about looking weak on defense!

I was just really impressed with Jay. I'm guessing he was sideswiped by this.

3. In Georgia, the State party has little power and even less money.
I suspect it is the same in SC.
