Bush to exchange student volunteering in Greensburg: "Are you enjoying it here?"

<snip>

Hamish Ogle, a 17-year-old volunteer from nearby Haviland, walked up to Bush, asking, "Can I shake your hand?"

When the president learned Ogle was an exchange student from New Zealand, he smiled and asked: "Are you enjoying it here?"

After the encounter, Ogle marveled to strangers: "I was talking to him! It's crazy!"

2. Here's what the exchange student really said:
"Of course I'm not enjoying it here! What kind of a question is that, you moron? I nearly got killed! Everything has been wiped out. There is destruction as far as the eye can see.

You travel all this way and the most on topic question you can think of to ask is 'Are you enjoying it here?'

Everything I've heard about you IS TRUE: you are an idiot and an embarrassment to the good people of the United States."

But, we'll never hear that on the news...

:sarcasm:

3. Bush: Completely and utterly emotionally bankrupt
As well as only interested in steering any conversation, no matter how minute the point, to himself and his heckuva job self-perceived status. :grr:
