More Calls Increasing for Investigation into South Carolina Primary
Edited on Sat Jun-12-10 07:52 AM by samplegirl
Calls Increasing For Investigation Into Alvin Greene, the more there are calls to investigate just how he wound up with the Democratic nomination to face Senator Jim DeMint in South Carolina. Greene, who has refused to discuss felony charges against him and how he left the military “involuntarily” has claimed that he paid the filing fee to run out of his own pocket. Congressman James Clyburn of his state isn’t buying it.

Mr. Clyburn, the House Democratic majority whip, called for a federal investigation because of reports that Mr. Greene, who told television reporters and others that he is unemployed, somehow paid the more than $10,000 filing fee to run for the Senate.

“There were some real shenanigans going on in the South Carolina primary,” Mr. Clyburn said on a radio show. “I don’t know if he was a Republican plant; he was someone’s plant.”

Greene’s interview with Keith Olbermann Thursday

2. What I can't believe is that there is not already
a wealth of information on this guy...he claims to have gotten out of the Army 9 months ago after serving in Korea.

If he was a blonde white girl the media would already know what brand of hair color he used.

If he had gone ballistic in a shopping mall and shot 34 people and a Republican, we would already be seeing interviews with his neighbor from when he was a quiet, well behaved young man who always kept to himself and helped old ladies cross the street

Where is the media on this?

but not damn much. I saw another interview where he said that he had decided to run after he got out of the Army serving in Korea. I thought that Keith should have asked him about how he first got interested in politics and decided to run, etc., etc., and who was his Reprsentative, what Congressional District, etc.
