Sigourney Weaver was at our Founder's Day celebration (and zinged Palin)!
Edited on Sat Jun-12-10 01:10 PM by Dennis Donovan
A nice day here in Auburn, NY so I decided to ride my bike down to our Founder's Day celebration. Because they're honoring Auburnian Theodore W Case (inventor of the Movietone Sound-on-Film process) this year, they invited Sigourney Weaver and, to her credit, she came to our humble little berg.

After she and I made passionate love,:D I woke from my dream and she gave a speech on the steps of City Hall about how important Ted Case was to the talkies and how she (wink) owed her entire career to him. At one point, she talked about the Gulf of Mexico disaster and brought up last year's "honored guest" to our founder's day celebration, Sarah Palin. "You had Sarah Palin here last year, and I'm sure she said 'Drill, baby, drill.' Well, I'm here to say 'Walk, baby, walk!!'" The crowd went nuts and I cheered like a banshee!

Thank you, Sigourney - YOU ROCK!!!!

She's often said that her favorite historic house anywhere is the Seward House! :)

7. Be sure to let us know when she pays you a visit...
Though I doubt that NY is going to be on her itinerary, unless we have a civil war or get nukes... :(

13. If she didn't campaign for Kirsten Gillibrand, though she was senator at the time,
I'm not betting that she'll swing by for anyone else. :(

15. Okay...
You can dream about that, too. :evilfrown:

NY's considered a blue state. We can probably only expect the likes of Sarah Palin. x(
