What exactly is the allure of the failed-CEO-turned-Politician?
They want to run the government like a business? But, the strange thing is they did at one point run an actual business, and they ran it straight into the crowd. They are the Failed-CEO-turned-Politician.

And you'd think their candidacies would be dead in the water because of their record, well, remember a guy named George W. Bush? And how before he was Governor of Texas, he ruined every company he ran? He has to be bailed out by Daddy and friends at every turn.

Then there's Carly Fiorina, she ran HP, and she really exercised it. By the time she was done with it, it lost half of it's shares. And she is running for Senator while calling everyone else "tax and spend liberals" and "fiscal conservatives in name only" (With demon sheep for some strange reason).

There are plenty of others as well, and probably all over the world as well.

How on Earth do they even get a base? Do they use the same charisma they used to escape the SEC and angry shareholders to scam the 30%? Do they just shout "LIBERALS!!!!" and a bunch of gullible people magically appear to defend everything they do and say? Do they say "Unlike those socialists, I don't want to punch Baby Jesus in the face" and people vote for them just because of that? What?

1. I suppose it's the fact a woman got to be CEO to begin with and her tenure
is irrelevent. It's the only thing I can come up with.

4. Women candidates have an automatic "in" on account of so many
not knowing the policies and histories of those they vote for.

As a election brochure distributor, back in 2004, I was really alarmed at how many people will stumble into a polling place, not aware of any of the propositions on the ballot, and not knowing anything about anyone, except maybe whoever is running for President.

And if someone decides just to vote for those he is familiar with (for instance, leaving the judges' section blank,) then the election judges will attempt to have the entire ballot ruled as invalid. Especially if it is a Democrat or an "indie" voter's ballot.

2. They want to make a lot of money. And they like the feeling of power.
Carly Fiorina doesn't care a whit about our country. She wants to do what BushCo did...make a LOT of money and throw her weight around like a bully. Just like George.

3. Chimp & Dick - two multiple failures who teamed up to fail the entire country
So why not Carly and Meggie teaming up to pound the final nail in to Collieforneea (as the current Repuke governor calls it)?

No allure needed.

They can BUY whatever they f*kin want!!

Bloomberg bought himself a third term in NYC, after buying the city council so it was legal for him to have a third term.
