Did you see Louis Black tonight on Comedy Central? He's
the best comedia I've seen in a long time!

He had some great political jokes. He started out by saying he can't believe anyone stil thinks they are a Dem or a Pub! The last eight years the Pubs did nothing but sand around farting, and the Dems stepped up and sniffed & said Hmmmm, smells good! He said he just turned 60. THAT'S oLD! People tell me that 60 is the new 40. THAT'S BS! That's WHY THEY'RE DIFFERENT NUMBERS!!!

His show ran twice tonight. I looked to see when it might be repeated, but I can't find any listing.

He's a very very funny man!

4. That man is wicked funny. Sorry to realize I missed this.
I laugh every time I think of jokes he's told - doesn't matter the topic. he cn be so spot on and also so absurd.

he tells this joke about how much he loves his daughter.

That when his wife was pregnant with her, the two of them wanted to give her a name that would always remind her of where she came from, related to her origins and all of that.

So they called her "vulva."

5. Very funny. Sort of.

It is bothering me that many seem to be arguing about the wrong things, small things, and maybe fighting the wrong enemy. I see Elton John playing at one of Rush Limbaugh's many weddings, a new law which can make health insurance companies wealthy beyond their wildest dreams while still ignoring the care for millions of Americans. An entire Congress, for the 10th year in a row is ignoring the depletion of savings from those who had the least, now responding to over 30 million people without enough income to pay for their homes or kid's educations (not to mention their own) by saying we need to "cut the deficit", an action which can only help a few wealthy people hold onto an increasing and obscene percentage of the total wealth of this country.

So when he said the Republicans and Democrats are like a bowl of shit looking in the mirror, I laughed, just for a moment, then I started thinking. It's not as funny now...

But mostly he is funny ;)

8. He cracks me up!
I used to own some of his live comedy discs, until I had to sell them because we're so frigging poor. :(

I'll have to try to remember to catch him on Comedy Central. Thanks for the reminder!

9. It was great
I loved the part about people asking him what he'll do now that Bush is gone and his response that there is an abundance of stupidity for example the appointment of a Treasury Secretary who didn't pay taxes.

13. Yes he is.. I saw him live at his hometown high school here in Silver Spring, MD..
He actually holds back when on teevee. He lets it rip live and uncensored!! The man is hilarious and usually right on target politically.

14. I took my son to see him when he was 18 and he loved him too.
You're right about Black being even more over the top. I love his Back in Black segments on the Daily Show too.
