So I'm thinking Gena Rowlands and Martin Landau play 'em in the movie

The question is, can we find an actor convincing enough to play Gena Rowland's husband in the film version?

PS, My goodness, he looks uncomfortable there. Do you think he's worrying that his hair isn't combed?
