Why all the angst over what BP should do?
When we know that the minute that the rethugs are back in office, they will just make legislation in favor of the oil industry. They are just waiting for the day that they can go back to the Cheney deregulations, no matter the cost.

1. Then why do anything? Why push healthcare reform?
Why push financial regulation? Why try to stimulate the economy?

If the GOP is inevitably just going to destroy anything that is done, why do anything?

Or is it possible that it's worthwhile to try to do something and take the risk that a future GOP majority will try to destroy it?

3. Good questions. But they will gain power again and complete the destruction of this country.
Some folks are just seeing this and some knew it since late November 1963.
