Idea for an ad or billboard...

Is this the future you want????

Insert pictures as follows:

Masked birther/Teabagger with hate speech sign
Oil slick and sludge
Something to reflect poverty next door to extreme wealth (had a picture like that a few months ago on DU)

Can be tailored for state campaigns or issue campaigns (eg, an energy bill with regulations attached)

I'm ready to play on people's fears. I do not want to live under another Republican administration or with an R majority Congress in my lifetime. I don't want that for my children or grandchildren. We cannot afford to go back. I refuse to.

If it weren't for Obama, we'd have no teabaggers (even if McCain was running up epic deficits)...

Everyone's blaming Obama for the spill...

And some would say "yes, please get those poor people away from my extreme wealth"

3. There are way more of us than them.

Only so many people fit into the country clubs and the exclusive resorts. The rest of us know who we are and we need to mobilze the vote.

For all the BS caterwauling that goes on here on these boards, there is much that has been done over the past year and a half, and much of it has been done because of the President and Congress and in spite of the Rs and, yes, even us.

I missed a couple of golden opportunities in Downtown Los Angeles lately. A homeless man asleep outside Wolfgang Puck's Express... and another lying down on the steps of The California Club. I need to keep a camera handy.
