Oh My! Bill'O'Lielly loses it with Wes Clark!
Edited on Wed May-09-07 07:27 PM by jefferson_dem
Just caught the tail end on FauxNews... They were chatting about Iraq, Soros, etc. and Billo had his falafel all in a wad. Wes kept his cool all the while. Keep your eyes peeled for the video 'cause this one will be worth watching.

3. BillO was in total hysterical buffoon mode. Wes was composed per usual.
He signed off by scolding BillO for getting personal when he should be focusing on the troops... Classic.

6. Love IT! That's got to be the
best scolding yet for the falafel impaired one.

bo's ego overtakes any sense he was born with.

WTG! General Clark! I hope the fauxnoise addicts are able to differentiate between an intelligent, compassionate man and a world class blow hard.

27. Wow! I didn't make it all the way through, though.
Edited on Thu May-10-07 06:15 AM by mwb970
I got sick of O'Reilly's ugly face and demonic expression, and his lying words, about 2/3 of the way through. But Gen. Clark was great!

By the way, what is it with wingnuts and George Soros? I thought Bill Clinton was the personification of evil in the world. Or was it Barbra Streisand? Jane Fonda? Joan Baez? Hillary? I forget. Anyway, now it's Soros. What would these simple-minded people do without a bogeyman to hate?

Oliely went after Soros once before with Wes...Oi! That really burns him, doesn't it, Goerge supporting WesPAC? No doubt Wes did a great job of defending him.

23. There's a major anti-Soros pile-on going on
He's a hot topic in the RW media right now.

I heard Stephanie Miller talking about O'Reilly's part (she played a tape), and then happened to hear Hannity for myself while in the car this afternoon. I would assume the other RW radio-whores are in on it, and would be very surprised if it's not coming right out of the White House and/or RNC since the story lines are near identical.

It goes something like this. Soros is the Mr. Evil behind everything. Pelosi and MoveOn are his tools. All of them, along with Democratic Party leaders (altho they didn't mention Dean by name) have a conference call EVERY morning where Soros gives his marching orders. And of course, they throw in all the anti-Soros bullshit you heard tonite from Bill-O. And claim that it's Soros money alone that keeps MoveOn in business. Yada yada yada.

It's really quite insane. :tinfoilhat:

13. OMG, I just Googled "O'Reilly falafel"
I'm really going to have to rethink my attitude about not reading gossip columns. That is too hysterically funny for me to have missed. Now every time I see that repulsive giant head I'm going to think about falafel...LMAO.

Just proves my initial impression. Billo is a repugnant jerk.

24. O'Reilly pointed out that the soldiers in the field
watch FoxNoise all the time and when they hear people dissing the war, it's really bad for morale. He kept hammering away that Clark accepted $75,000 from Soros. I got the impression that billo was saying you shouldn't accept donations from anyone unless you agree with everything they say and do. Clark knows way more about Soros than billo but the latter kept throwing nonsense out there. Clark had a hard time keeping up with the bs but, imo, he did fantastic!

The reason it was fun wasn't so much the content, but watching billo implode. He's never won against Clark and never will.

:hi:

20. I saw it. O'Lielly was trying to trip Clark up the whole time.
Edited on Wed May-09-07 09:58 PM by calteacherguy
It was obvious O'Lielly was trying to get Clark to say something in a soundbite that later "could be used against him," so to speak.

Clark kept cool and kept coming back to the issue of supporting the troops by changing the policy.

31. What is amazing is that in the end of each of his rants, BO always has to
end by agreeing with Wes.

This time round, he agreed that He, BO, does character assassinations, and that Bush's Iraq strategy is fucked up...and that our country needs better leadership. Wonder why it always takes so long before BO agrees with the Democratic General? Could it be that BO eventually starts to understand how silly, wrong and whiny he sounds during these rants of his, but way too late?
