3. Terrorists are pretty funny until they succeed
Imagine how we'd guffaw at the idea of terrifying Muslims with box cutters, had they been stopped in time.

Oh, and I don't buy MIHOP or LIHOP.

5. Boxcutters on airplanes are a lot scarier than paint-ball guns in the Poconos.

9. Just a minor quibble: do you really think those buildings
fell in their own footprints after some minor fires?

Just wondering. I can buy the Arabs with boxcutters flying planes bit - what I can't buy is buildings defying the laws of physics. That's what makes me question the whole day.

12. I would hope no one would have gotten killed BUT
If our military could not handle six ex pizza delivery guys, then they would have had a heck of a time defending themselves in Iraq.

13. I don't think it's as crazy at it sounds
Fort Dix in the mainland United States, not Iraq. All of the soldiers' personal weapons (rifles, pistols, machine guns, etc.) are locked up in an armory someplace. Only the guards would be armed. If the first shots they fired took out a couple of guards, it would probably be a couple-few minutes before the local police and MPs responded fast enough to take them out.

Of course, the people that they are shooting at would all know where and how to take cover immediately, which would help a lot in reducing casualties.

I doubt this would be a mass-casualty event. But two or three dead guards ia a tragedy regardless.
