Don't allow McCrystal to resign and slink away.

Drum him out.... Loudly, publically, and with extreme prejudice.

9. This is not McChrystal's first prom.
He has a sordid history, and quite frankly, I was appalled that Obama ever selected him for the position in the first place.

Just a few highlights of McChrystal's career:

Involved in the Pat Tillman cover up.

Involved in mal-treatment of prisoners.

Head of Cheney's Executive Assassination Team.

Reprimanded by President Obama for publicly disagreeing with the Admin.

McChrystal and his team are in violation of the UCMJ, and as such, should be Courts Martialed immediately after he is relieved of command.

11. No Court Martial
1. There will be no Court Martial for McChrystal.

2. If the president decides that McChrystal has to go, he will be publicly relieved of command (I have this day decided to relieve Gen McChrystal of command as he no longer enjoys my confidence).

3. Mcchrystal will be told to submit his retirement papers immediately (CJCS will tell him "anytime tomorrow morning if you can't do it this afternoon").

4. McChrystal will go into retirement and become a fifteen minute media sensation then some think tank will give him a sinecure. Defense firms won't touch him because of toxicity.
