Bin Laden hunter might have been shaved for security reasons

Bin Laden hunter Gary Faulkner might come back to U.S. with another surprise for his family and friends — clean shaved.

An official with Pakistani authorities says the Colorado man has been released by the Pakistani government without any charges.

“There is a possibility that Faulkner would be clean shaved for security reasons,” added the official, who requested not to be named.

Faulkner has been released and put on a plane headed home early this morning, and is expected to arrive stateside sometime today.

One official with Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency said Faulkner had a valid visa committed no crime while there. The out-of-work contruction worker, carrying a pistol and a 40-inch sword, told authorities who apprehended him last week he was on a solo mission to snuff out terror mastermind Osama bin Laden.
