Trading Tweety for John King on CNN during 7pm hour
This is my first time watching John King's show but so far it's really refreshing to hear intelligent discussion of issues without Tweety's dramatics and clown-like topics and guests. Where does John King lean politically? So far I can't tell. He seems to be summarizing all points of view without giving away his hand.

4. John King usually leans very very very far to the right. Today is a good day for Obama so he is
playing it fair, but usually his bias is very very evident.

if you think his new show shows him in a better light and trying then that's a hopeful sign for journalism, everywhere.

5. I can't listen to Tweety's quacky tenor for more than a few minutes
so I don't watch him anyhow. King is reputed to tilt a bit to the right but I've never seen his show.

6. King seriously tries to be fair. IMO,, his leanings are to the right.
Often frames from the perspective of a moderate Republican(extinct species)

to broaden my horizons. after a couple of days, i'm not turned off by him. i gave him a ton of credit for his performance after katrina when he reported from nola. he may be the most palatable of the faux bunch. i don't think i can do ratigan anymore and tweety is really annoying.

i think i'm experiencing politics burnout.

8. Well to each his own, but John King is a real tool
I cannot stand the man for even a few minutes.

And intelligent discussion is not something I've ever heard when he's involved. Fawning, yes. Intelligence, no.
