Usually by some outfit supposedly pushing natural gas.

Anyone know who is behind this shit?

Well made ads too. Usually an actor dressed as a soldier in it saying in so many words he doesn't mind killing a bunch of brown people to steal their natural resources in the Mideast or Asia, but he hates to clean the stuff off our beaches. Seems like these ads picked up about where T. Boone Pickens natural gas campaign left off. Just ramped up a notch.

Reminds me of when our media was pushing that Saddam was our enemy meme before we killed about a million Iraqis in some of the most horrific ways possible like dropping fire on their heads.

Anyone else starting to get a sense of deja vu here?

Who is behind this propaganda that can convince parents to proudly send their children off to kill or be killed like this for oil companies?

Any ideas?

Don

1. Another war would finish off the US middle class.
The goal is a fuedal system and return to the dark ages.

We're very close.

3. speaking of Iran and oil, here's some BP trivia
http://www.democracynow.org/2010/5/6/history_of_bp_includes_role_in

As tens of thousands of gallons of oil continue to spew into the Gulf of Mexico from the BP oil spill, we continue our series on BP. Sixty years ago, BP was called the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. We look at the story of the company’s role in the 1953 CIA coup against Iran’s popular progressive prime minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh.

6. Glad I'm not the only one who's picked up on this.
I also find irritating the "pro-peace energy source" pretext. As if there's anything peaceful about the integrated global energy industry.
