Look, I don't usually side with the Flag Desecration Amendment crowd, but ...
this is really too much.

Flagbags.com

Of course, the irony is that it's supposed to appeal to uber-jingoistic flag-suckers, but ... seriously? You're gonna stuff an American flag full of garbage? I mean ... that's just wrong.

2. When I was a teen, they were wearing flags on everything - even underwear.
Even the part of the underwear that gets...you know....the most soiled. I always thought that was strange, but it was part of the whole Patriot Quiche of the time (mid 70s).

Today its like all sense has gone out the window. I see "patriotic" businesses in town flying flags that are so tattered and filthy they look like they have been through both world wars. You'd think such "patriots" would know about the flag etiquette, taking it down and folding it at sunset, stuff like that, but apparently that's all gone out the window as well.

3. The irony is that the people who buy these bags...
probably think they are being patriotic.

4. That's just 50 gallons of good, old fashioned, Red Stater patriotism
Edited on Thu Jun-24-10 01:56 PM by kenny blankenship
stuffed in a 30 gallon bag.

Seriously, if they stopped doing tacky, stupid shit like this, I'd get scared the world was changing too fast for me.

9. Flags don't mean a god damned thing
In my 50-year experience, I've met people who love the flag and people who love the Bill of Rights.

I've never met anyone who was in both camps.

10. I'm not aware of any other country that makes such a big deal about flags.
Most of the world thinks we're silly.

12. Indeed they do.
A French friend of mine says: Why so many flags? Have you forgotten who you are?
