3. I fell in love with Byrd all over again when I saw Body of War
and my heart goes out to Tomas Young today. He loves Senator Byrd.

5. OMG it's a wonderful film
about my friend Tomas Young who was paralyzed in Iraq. The film is about his struggle to accept his limitations while emerging as an outspoken veteran against the war. He is a very dear friend of Robert Byrd. They met while Body of War was being filmed and Byrd has a very prominent role in the film.

There is a trailer here: http://www.bodyofwar.com/

8. Please let me know what you think
I've seen it probably 10 times and it still makes me cry.

I also got to meet Phil Donahue when they premiered the film here in KC. That was pretty cool.

9. OMG - just watched it
Just. Wow.

The only high note was the US Senators who are now long gone. This is a poignant story. Beyond poignant.

I can't believe I missed it when it came out. Thank you, Netflix.
