Interesting hurricane forecast on the eleven o'clock nooz

So they're saying it could be Cat 2. It will track across the southern Gulf, the Yucatan, and then southern Tejas. As a hurricane, it will not touch the oil area.

But . . . .

After it makes landfall in Tejas, steering winds will push the remains eastward. Thunderstorms and heavy squalls will skirt the Gulf Coast, right across the beaches now being covered in oil and hindering the cleanup.

I guess it could be worse.

That 'left hook' is the catch. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it ended up hitting Texas directly.
