C-SPAN should be dead to me
I say "should" because I'm a political junkie, and I probably won't be able to resist watching them in the future.

But this is ridiculous. They have this guy on, named Aaron Klein, talking about how Obama is in Bill Ayers back pocket, and that they are determined to overthrow the US government and institute a Marxist regime.

And this is with a substitute host on the freaking G. Gordon Liddy show. Liddy, who advised his listeners, back in the day, to shoot federal agents in the HEAD, so as to kill them, evading their bullet-proof vests.

C-SPAN is actively promoting violence against the elected president of the U.S.A. It's unbelievable. It's like I'm living in a dystopian, science-fiction novel.

Meanwhile, the corporations have killed the sea.

Imaginary fears have won. And the causes of our real fears continue to rage unabated. Stupid Americans, from all corners of our nation celebrate their own destruction.

I think I'm going to throw up now. Thank you.

1. And yet conspiracy theories get the cold shoulder.
if they implicate the right wing.
that should tell us who really runs things.

3. Even perfectly reasonable "conspiracy theories"
are not allowed on C-Span if they support a left wing position. I get sick of C-Span's one-sided coverage.

2. C-Span's Washington Journal
seems to schedule an awful lot of these right wing extremists-like Charles Krauthammer. These nutters keep repeating crazy stories just like they do on RW radio and Faux news. Why does C-Span continue to schedule such extremists, if they do not have an agenda as they claim? I think it is pretty clear that C-Span, in fact, does have an agenda.

IMHO, anyone that believes or is willing to claim that Obama has a Marxist agenda is simply too far out there to be taken seriously. Why should Washington Journal ever have guest of such a radical nature?

4. C-SPIN Has Always Been Right Wing...
They cover it with a ruse of being a "public service"...but it was originally designed to bypass FCC cable laws that required "Community Access" and "Governmental" programming. Brian Lamb, a lifelong rushpublican, set up the network on behalf of the large cable companies. It was a platform for Gingrich to get around the "filter" of network "librul" media with long grandstanding speeches in front of an empty house chamber but it did get noticed around the country and helped make him a national figure. The network has always skewed to the right...back in the booosh era they'd divide the phone lines with "Support the "president"" and "All Others".

CSPAN has long been used by the "mighty wurlitzer"...hate radio and right wing media...where a story is planted in the morning, picked up using CSPIN's "credibility" on hate radio and whipped into a major issue by the even cable food fights.

To their credit, the do bring on a "librul" now and then...but they also give unfettered airtime to some of the most retched right wing hate spewers on the planet.

5. Thanks, KharmaTrain.
Back during the Gingrich revolution I didn't have access to C-Span on my cable TV. Since then we have subscribed to Dish Network.
