ANGLE is Harry Reid's ANGEL
C'mon, admit it: Before the Nevada GOP nominated Shitforbrains Sharron, you thought the Majority Leader was toast, didn't you?

Me too.

Could anyone ask for a better Republican foil???

Sorry, Chuck, you're gonna have to wait a while longer!

1. Angle still leads in the polls--don't underestimate "teh stoopid"
Yeah, it is Rassmussen, but still (from 6/24):
Angle leading Reid by 48 percent to 41 percent.

10. I'm hopeful
that as Nevadans begin to hear more from the mouth of crazy Sharron that the poll numbers will reverse. It's a long way til election day.

I think there is a good chance that Angle will turn off enough of the anti-Reid protest vote between now and then to get him re-elected.

2. That's what Jimmy Carter thought about Reagan in 1980, too
Just because you and I can add 2+2 and get four, it doesn't mean a majority of voters in any given state can do it.

If Fox tells 100 people to jump off a cliff, 50 of them will do it, and they ALL vote.

3. As In "You"...You Mean The Corporate Media...
I'll admit I have no idea if Reid was toast or not or if he will win in November. While the polls were looking bad, I've seen many similar polls over the years a year or 6 months out from an election that aren't close to the final results. I especially don't buy the astroturfing Rasmussen was doing over the psat year that the corporate media has written up as some kind of major rushpublican "tsunami" this November. The beltway bubbleheads are certain that there's "anti incumbent" fever out there and since Democrats have the most seats, they will suffer losses. No shit. The fact Democrats made so many gains in the past two election cycles was incredible, but the party's decline is premature.

While voters are upset with the status quo, many are seeing the alternative and not liking what they're seeing. Angle is just one of a slate of unhinged candidates that many win in the short term but will destroy the GOOP in the long run. They are only candidates...not administrators or legislators. If any do get elected, we'll see them fall apart as they drive their corrupt party further from the mainstream and became embarassments for those who vote for them.

8. When people are pissed, they'll vote for anyone if they dislike the status quo.
Shes nuts, but don't count her out.
