Perhaps she was just asking for it?

I'm not saying she was right or wrong, but when a woman makes an accusation and people start "looking into her past" based on that accusation, I just think that smells of, I don't know, anti-woman.

If something happens to my daughter I don't want her not to report it for worry of people "looking into her past."

I mean, honestly, a masseuse leaving town because a former customer is going to visit someone else because getting groped left her so horribly traumatized? Does she have no control over which clients she sees? A masseuse who has never, ever gotten groped by anyone alone in a hotel room before or since?

Shoot, anybody groped me while I was a nurse got a warning in no uncertain terms about what would happen if he ever tried it again and that was usually that.

While the incident might have happened, her overstatement is shooting her credibility all to hell. Overstating an incident is always a mistake and that's what smacks of a Republican smear job.

While I agree that a woman's sexual, romantic past, etc. should not be questioned should she file a claim for unwanted sexual advances, I could see the relevance of knowing if perhaps this woman might have blackmailed someone before, etc.

40. actually i was implying that Gore is being set up by

some right wing clown like the kid who set up acorn, possible in a lame attempt to slow down his progress on global warming. After all, who is going to go and listen to a sexual predator speak.
