It was rumored that he was a member of the Navy, but all evidence shows he's never been in the Navy. Nor has he ever been on a boat before. On his last voyage, he and his crew spent 43 days going in a circle. They went 200 miles and were still in the bay. In fear of their lives, his crew installed a fake captain's wheel so that Captain Peachfuzz only "thought" he was steering. Last reports of his whereabouts say he got lost inside of a paper bag and cannot find his way out.

Good question. Allow me to examine this point-by-point, if I may:

1) Nero - Killed his own mother, supposedly played his lyre while Rome burned (although the Roman historian Tacitus claims Nero organized a relief effort using his own funds upon hearing of the fire), persecuted Christians.
Bush - Went after the guy who threatened his father, played guitar while New Orleans drowned (Relief effort? What relief effort?), persecutes non-Christians. Okay, certainly some similarities there.

2) The Anti-Christ - I saw a bumper sticker once that summed this argument up very nicely, I think. I don't remember the exact wording, but the gist of it was something very close to this: "Jesus Christ: Social liberal/fiscal conservative. George W. Bush: Social conservative/fiscal liberal. Therefore, Bush = the Anti-Christ." Logical, perhaps, although personally I would think the Anti-Christ would be a little smarter...? :shrug:

3) Hitler - Oh boy. This is a tough one. Okay, I will admit that my freshman year of college, I wrote an essay for a sociology class comparing Bush to Hitler (and got a high score on it, as I recall - those liberal professors!), but it's not really that simple (then again, what is?). I can definitely see some parallels, especially in the circumstances surrounding each man's rise to power - Hitler capitalized on the economic crisis that was affecting Germany, and Bush used 9/11 and the Iraq war to get his second term. In both cases, a national crisis existed and people wanted a leader who would "save the day," and both Hitler and Bush used that to their advantages. Both exhibit(ed) dictatorial tendencies - Hitler was der Fuehrer, Bush is Tociopathic cannibal. Okay, the only difference I see here is that there have been no mentions of GWB consuming human flesh...but really, who knows? :eyes:

6) Alfred E. Neuman - "What, me worry?" Well. That certainly seems fitting. However, as far as I know, Alfred E. Neuman has never been in charge of one of the most powerful countries in the world, and so is far more harmless than GWB.

7) Napoleon Bonaparte - Served in the military. 'Nuff said.

8) Jack The Ripper - Two major differences here. One, Jack the Ripper was "only" responsible for a (comparatively) small number of deaths, whereas GWB is responsible for tens of thousands at the very least. Two, GWB's policies of destruction encompass a broader spectrum of society than just female prostitutes.

9) Oedipus - The "president" definitely has some Oedipal tendencies, I would say, but as far as we know, he has not slept with his mother. :puke:

10) A Combination Of Some, Or All Of The Above - This one makes the most sense, I think. See the other reasons listed above.
