The Dems have their own "W" effect

It seems that some of the best congresspeople have surnames starting with W. Have you noticed? At yesterday's Gonzo hearing, think about which House members were the most impressive.

Wexler. Waters. Wasserman Schultz. Watt.

And that's just on the Judiciary Committee. (note that not one R-W exists on the committee -- especially enjoy the symbolism)

Then of course there's Waxman. And Watson. And I'll add Woolsey to the list just because she's always on the correct side of a vote (she's just not one of the most articulate members -- every other one I've listed, though, is extremely sharp and articulate.)

Notice that no House members from Texas have a "W" surname.

So is this just the universe maintaining some sort of balance?

By the way, if THAT isn't proof that Bert is evil, nothing is.
