Catholics do not proselytze about "accepting Jesus"; that is Protestant Fundamentalist behavior.

And the REASON is that we eschew the notion of "born again" and adult baptism.

7. Yeah, that's more of Dominionist behavior.

Although Roman Catholicism has had it's share of conversion under the threat of the sword, over the years.

If you couldn't convert 'em peacefully, killing 'em was a viable alternative.

Catholics---or, more accurately, the sicko Dominicans--- used the rack, thumbscrews, the "Iron Maiden", hot coals, etc.

9. I was born and raised a Catholic. But

in the last twenty years I have left the church. I think they are the greediest, racist bunch of people going. They discriminate and that's some thing Jesus did not do. What makes the Pope think he can continue to let Priest continue to abuse the children. The take in billions of dollars and I will tell you this not 1/4 of it goes to what it is supposed to go to, the parishioners. The use it to gild the cups, and the artifacts in gold. What good does gold cups do when the people you are supposed to feed don't have food. I know there are a lot of very good Catholics out there who help the poor and needy, but the over all Catholic Church in my opinion does not.
