I want my trickle that I was promised ten years ago when Bush* and the Republicans promised it. They said if we gave all our money to the wealthy we would get more back through trickle down.. I want my trickle....

1. Trickle-down economics is the biggest big lie
ever told to the American people.
And it is the big lie that the greatest number of them have swallowed.

3. It's your fault, you should have become a yacht builder
The only people that ever saw the trickle were the people that supported the lifestyles of the tricklers.

6. Nothing to explain We all knew it was a BS theory since 1929 so it was no great surprise when
nothing trickled down, unless you count the yellow liquid that the rich and the republicons rained down on our heads. The only ones who seem to be surprised are the ones who are still waiting for their golden shower.

7. What got trickled down went to China, Mexico, etc... and got spread out very, very thinly.
I recall stories of how people working in plants in the USA were tasked with going to Mexico, setting up plants down there, training the new managers, then getting fired. "Nothing personal..."

10. Ill targeted due to being used as a campaign promise catch all and far
too small in any event to patch over such a massive hole in the economy.

If you're talking the stimulus bill.

787 billion is a ton of money but the economy hemorrhaged much more and already had many systemic issues that mean Humpty Dumpty can't be put together again.
Things were bad before the collapse and had been for years.

if only we had trickle harder you'd get some. If that doesn't work, we might need to trickle harder yet.

19. J K Galbraith described it as
"sparrow and horse economy" not trickle down. If you
stuff enough into the horse it will eventually leave
something at the side of the road for the sparrow.

24. Yes....very good point! Where is my Trickle Down?
I did everything you told me to do? I was a good, obediant servant.

I paid more for my healthcare... I endured longer hours and shitty-crappy goods from China... I worked Overtime for free... I got less vacation days and put more money in YOUR pocket... dickhead..

So where is MY trickle down?
