Two tidbits from today, and a question

1. A poll says that 65% of Americans say that "socialist" describes the president "well" or "very well".

2. Tom Tancredo says that the president is a bigger threat to the US that Al Qaeda

Q: Are we ever going to fight back against hate radio and Tancredo's ilk?

1. Here is a thought, Social Security is socialist, Medicare and Medicaid are socialist.

Federal unemployment insurance is socialist. Food stamps and WIC are socialist.

My guess would be that many of those 65% are happy with their socialist benefits.

The wing nut noise machine never defines or explains the words they use. They leave it up to you.

2. It was 55% of "likely" voters. Around of a third of the posters here seem to be working

against the President and Democrats so I sure wouldn't look to them for fighting back against hate radio or Tancredo.

You're right. Considering how many hate radio talking points get posted here, pushback seems like a long shot.
