Westboro Baptist protest nets $$ for HIV clients
Talk about remaining cool in time of controversy.

Leaders of Resource Center Dallas decided to have a fundraiser for a new ice machine, tied to a planned protest of their building today.

"We've asked people to donate 50 cents or a dollar for every minute of scheduled protest time," said Rafael McDonnell, strategic communications manager for the nonprofit, which supports people with HIV. "We've raised about $1,400 so far."
