Heritage gives free pocket Constitution
Is it wrong of me to suggest the Heritage Foundation use their resources to send me and all my DU friends a free copy of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence?

I didn't think so. I love my free copy that I can carry in my purse.

1. This is the only thing they've ever done that shows
a modicum of enlightened self-interest and kindness.
The only thing the Heritage Foundation has ever done that I agree with.
And that's saying a lot.

2. I've got mine.
In fact, I have several copies. I've read it more times than anything else, I think, not being especially religious.

3. "Is it wrong...?"
That's a tough one. Since they're offering it with no strings, I don't think it's wrong. But, I may just be rationalizing.

I did order one, however. And, not suprisingly, I did not make a donation.

9. It's almost as if they're engaging in a type of
shiver, public investment.

15. Well at any rate,
here's something they've done that's worthy of us.
I'm very interested in the version I'll see-- I want to check it against the NARA page.
The Constitution has been modified quite a few times, and I want to see if this is the original version.

6.  Check it.. I suspect the second amendment is highlighted, bolded, in larger text...
with the "well regulated" part missing.

14. I had a vague memory of hearing about it
I searched with the terms: free pocket constitution. When I found the Heritage Foundation 'freebie', I thought, "Everyone I know should know about this. I think it is a right and good thing for them to spend their resources on sending me this, which I do read, refer to and use."

11. maybe
some of those so called "constitution lovers" will actually read the thing. I don't hold out a lot of hope for them understanding it.

it is complete. that is the separation between church and state parts. I bet, are missing.
