GOP anti-regulation logic applied to your daily commute
My brain hurts trying to figure out the Repuke logic for anti-regulation of Wall St, or the oil industry, or anything for that matter. I don't even understand how they have these people on tv discussing their stupidity. So let's apply their logic to your daily commute to work.

We can tell the cops to forget about any speeding tickets, DUI infractions, or road rage, remove stop signs and traffic lights. Pass laws so cops can no longer regulate traffic.

Just imagine how the highways would regulate themselves. I'm confident people would be more than happy to wait their turn at intersections, or refrain from downing a case of beer and hitting the streets for a night of drag racing. Couldn't imagine anyone texting their best chum about the pedestrian they just ran over a mile back while they were attempting to text about something else. We could even do without inspections, you could drive your lawn tractor to work if you like, or a donkey, or anything.

Certainly, the highways would run smoother and more efficiently if drivers didn't have to worry about tickets and court appearances, or jail time. This idea is fool proof! What could possibly go wrong?

:sarcasm: (in case it's needed)

I forgot the one logical flaw in attempting GOP brainwaves. This scenario is in the context of the "small people", not the big CEO's and rich folk, the beautiful ones. They'd be able to navigate GOP highways with no worries, but with us, it would be chaos.

1. Why stop there!
How about we let everybody throw up whatever they choose as a building or house. Your next door neighbor should have the freedom to raise as many hogs as he can build pens for on his property. Once the tsunami of shit and piss leaves his yard, it is someone elses problem. And why for fuck's sake should we have government getting into the licensing business. Why shouldn't your dumbass brother-in-law be allowed to throw up a sign for bargain basement priced boob enlargement surgery perfomred in an actual basement! I think if the corner gas station wants to add Grape Nehi to their gas because it smells better and they make more money, they should be allowed to do just that. What a great world it would be if we quit letting government tell big companies where they can throw their toxic waste. If GE wants to dig big unlined pits in your neighborhhod and dump PCB's and make toxic mountains, why shouldn't they have that right?

2. Yes, that's it! This logic is not only directly applicable to everything in life
but it's tons of fun! These scenarios clearly show that what the world needs now is more deregulation
