Mr. Richie doesn't start until Monday.

On a brighter note, we get a bone thrown to us when Sam's Sunday exile starts on the 20.

Lionel starts from a very low threshold...

I have intentionally blotted the names of those two jerks from my mind, but I did sample each just enough to know mornings on AAR are a thing of the past. I will occasionally listen to Young Terks, just because, but then nothing until Thom Hartman comes on...Guess I'm stuck with NPR or may switch to Bob Edwards on XM. I SO miss Sam Seder. What the fuck were the Greens thinking of...SHit....

29. Yes... I listen on XM, but for the few hours switch to the affiliate...
Thank God, the AAR station in Boulder decided to go with Hartman... I am really really questioning continuing with XM now... First they dump MSNBC, so I can no longer listen to Olberman and then they added Schultz to AAR, instead of Thom... Crap...

hes no randy or malloy or hartmann or sam but hes had a bellyfull of this administration and he is honest and realistic.

i dont have much of a problem with him and he is entertaining. n
i think aa is trying to make some money. we will see if this is another mistake.

8. I couldn't believe it!
Lionel was on my local AAR affiliate in the evenings after 10, and it was such a boring, awful show! And then when they announced adding him to AAR in a daytime slot! It's like they're purposefully trying to destroy the network or something!

16. We get a delayed play of Randi at 6
A delayed play of Ed is on from 3-6. I wish they'd switch them and give us Randi live. Since Ed is delayed now anyway, it really doesn't matter when we get him and I'd much rather have Randi on live. I've been streaming her at work, but once I'm in my car on my way home, I wind up having to listen to Ed and he's been getting on my nerves sometimes lately.

A year or so ago is a long time. He's dedicated entire programs to all the 9/11 theories in the last 6 months. He has links to all the theorists on his web site. Those shows don't bore me.

I can understand that you aren't thrilled with his hanging up on you. Consider yourself part of his education. Remember what Ghandi said about how first they laugh at you etc. You get my drift.

19. Lionel used to do the morning show with Mike Gallagher on WABC, and trust me,
he ISN'T rightwing. He is not chauvinstically left, but rather indepedent. He will criticize anybody who does not have their facts straight and/or uses faulty logic.

I've liked him for a while.

Green didn't "get" Seder. So he replaced him with an over-the-hill windbag.

21. I've listened to a LOT of Lionel and he's no right-winger.
But he thinks Tom Friedman is some sort of friggin genius and has a habit of disbelieving things out of hand too much.

He's entertaining but not really Air America material. Sam Seder and Maddow were the network's 2 greatest discoveries and it's a shame they ditched Seder for anyone.

I can't get AAR or Steph live so I download the shows to listen to them. I love both Sam Seder and Steph Miller and since I had to listen to the shows from the podcasts, I didn't have to worry about who to tune out. I could listen to both Seder and Steph.

Lionel looks like Dennis Miller and I hate Dennis Miller. There is no way I'll listen to Lionel.
