Or used to be... I'll bet she's liberal, too.

14. She used to be "goodwill Hollywood liberal..."
...until her problems with substance abuse and her adopted kids. In fact, I think this is the first time she's been back on TV since she was fired from the old To Tell the Truth show.

Most of the time, she did nonsequitur humor. Comedians who constantly do nonsequitur humor are usually hiding something emotionally, from the world and themselves. (Ellen DeGeneris did a lot of that to hide her sexuality problem. Once she came out of the closet, her humor was more reality-based and she was a lot funnier.)

15. Watching now, and she's dressing as she always dressed.
And I HAVE seen her on TV since the deal with her 'drinking wine' and her adopted kids when she got into trouble.

16. I always liked her even with her reexaminations of her existance.
She never raised or taught kids before she adopted.

Good show but not as good as V for the 15th time

Yeah, it was pretty good if that's the one you're talking about.

21. Here's a commentary, if you're interested:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=103x281193

For better or worse, I think Maher has gotten better, once he realized his support for the dim one was for naught. He tried, but it never happened. Now he's just as disillusioned as we are.

22. Thanks......Bill to me is a liberterian wanting to go democratic
and is reaching a conflict with his old Bill and his new Bill......
he sees the stands of the forest of liberalism being marginalized
and destroyed by what he thought was at one time was just
an aberration that destroyed his career on the MSM.

He is a spokesman for freedom.......even if I don't agree with him.

The eco-balance of the forest is not healthy
the republican tree is more like a 'Spanish moss"
it looks good on trees but it really is a parasite.

nor is the balance of the ying and yang in this nation
too much yang right now that doesn't bring
balance to the Che.
